Previewing your changes

Every project has a live preview — a view of your actual site that updates as you work. Whenever the AI assistant makes a change, the preview refreshes on its own within a few seconds, so you're always looking at the latest version.

It's your real, live site

The preview pane and your project's public web address (your-slug.sites.vectrforce.ai) show the same running site. Whatever you see in the preview is what a visitor would see if they opened that address right now — there's no separate "draft" stage in front of the public site.

That's how the AI loop stays fast: changes show up as they're made, and if you don't like one, you can roll it back just as quickly with the Undo control in chat. For bigger changes you want a safety net for, save a version first — see Saving & publishing.

Viewing at different sizes

Your site needs to look good on phones as well as computers. You can switch the preview between desktop, tablet, and mobile sizes to check how each page looks on different devices.

You can also open the preview in a new browser tab for a full-size, distraction-free look.

Preview states

  • Building — when you first create a project, Studio spends a short while setting it up. The preview shows a building message until it's ready.
  • Preview unavailable — occasionally the preview can't load (for example, if a change left the site in a broken state). Studio shows a message with a Reload option. If reloading doesn't help, ask the AI assistant to fix the problem — describe what you see, and it can usually recover.
